SUSTAINLEAD™ · PRACTICE 01

Based on questions and practice tools from GLO:B’s coaching program. This is not a client case or a claim of validated effectiveness.

When is this useful?

Explore the gap between how you see your leadership and how others experience it. Begin with real situations, the strengths and good intentions that brought you here, and the leader you want to become.

What can you try at work?

Choose one situation connected with feedback that stayed with you. Separate what you know from what you assume, and your intention from the other person’s experience. Choose one way to express the same strength differently.

You do not need to answer every workbook question. Choose what is useful now, prioritize the experiment agreed in coaching, and take three minutes afterward to note what happened, what you learned and your next choice.

A question for reflection

How else could I express the same good intention or strength?

What can you record and review?

A working output

Strengths, intentions, the team’s experience, a leadership direction and one experiment

An observable signal

Notice what happens for you and the other person when you choose differently. Spend three minutes recording what you learned.

Review specific situations and choices alongside any numerical change. Consider other people’s perspectives and organizational conditions. These prompts are not individual appraisal criteria or guarantees of results.

How does this fit into coaching?

The ten-session 1on1 journey explores this theme in the leader’s context and priorities. Rather than prescribing an answer, the coach helps the leader choose a meaningful experiment and integrate what they learn.
