Leading a team of 17
In global fashion export, I led 17 people as a hands-on team lead. Balancing my own delivery with the team’s work, relationships and differing expectations informs how I listen to leaders today.

ICF-Credentialed CoachAssociate Certified Coach · ACCI am Bitna Koo, an ICF-credentialed coach and founder of GLO:B. As a hands-on team lead in global fashion export, I led a team of 17. I have also run businesses and lived in different countries.
Working alongside a team, making choices amid the uncertainty of business ownership, and revisiting familiar assumptions in new cultures all inform the perspective I bring to coaching.
In coaching, we make room for the reality of the work and the person experiencing it. What are you carrying? Which expectations and emotions shape your choices? What would a meaningful next step look like for you?

In global fashion export, I led 17 people as a hands-on team lead. Balancing my own delivery with the team’s work, relationships and differing expectations informs how I listen to leaders today.
I have run businesses as the owner of Beyond the Blue Pool Villa and a co-founder of WKPB. Making decisions amid uncertainty and living with their consequences helps me make room for both responsibility and hesitation.
Living in different countries exposed me to varied values and ways of working, and invited me to revisit familiar assumptions. In coaching, I listen to each person’s context as they explore their own principles.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
Leaders and team members have emotions, needs and individual potential. Coaching respects the leader’s agency in their own life and context.
We listen to your experience and what matters to you. Questions invite awareness of familiar responses and room to explore another perspective.
Try an action you choose in real work, then reflect on the experience together. Consider the support you need and the conditions the organization can help address.
ICF ethical standards guide confidentiality and professional boundaries. Reporting arrangements with HR or a manager are agreed in advance, and private coaching dialogue is protected.
LET’S DESIGN THE NEXT STEP
Discuss the leaders involved, recurring work challenges and the changes you want to explore.
